This growth requires a well-organized, methodical, and people-oriented individual who is eager to develop a career in this field.The Ophthalmology Unit is seeking to fill the position of Study Coordinator. This individual will be responsible for the coordination of clinical trials within the field of ophthalmology, ensuring smooth study execution and high-quality care for participating patients.Education and qualifications:Required:Bachelor's degree in SciencesFluency in Catalan, Spanish and English (business level)Desired:Training in GCP (Good Clinical Practice)Specific training in optometrist techniquesExperience and knowledge:Required:Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.Experience with SAP management software.Experience with OCT Heidelberg, OCT Cirrus and Optos OptomapDesired:Highly organized and methodical, with strong motivation and initiative.Excellent communication skills.Ability to respond quickly to requests from the team and sponsor.Main responsibilities and duties:Coordination of clinical research to ensure that research activities comply with federal guidelines and institutional policies.Ensuring the proper training of research personnel to comply with federal guidelines.Recording and documenting training activities of personnel.Working closely with compliance officers, facilitating and reporting on clinical audits.Maintaining confidentiality and protection of patients participating in clinical research, ensuring informed consents are obtained for all participants.Documenting and reporting any breach in compliance with federal and agency regulation to appropriate persons.Performing optometric tests complying with protocol guidelines.Labour conditions:Part-time position: 12h/weekStarting date: immediateGross annual salary: 8.100,00 €.
