Our Exciting Opportunity: We are now looking for Junior Software Test Automation & Support Engineer for verification and Product Lifecycle Management support in an area where Ericsson is shaping the future of mission critical communications to help better protect and care for society. We organize in cross-functional development teams where continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.As a Junior Software Test Automation Engineer, you will be part of a team that takes full responsibility to manually and automatically verify the quality of Ericsson's Mission Critical Solutions.You will be developing automated test cases or adapting existing ones from the requirement specifications, executing them, and, when necessary, manually testing to compare results before delivering to internal or external customers. You will help to define the test cases based on the approved requirements or on detected issues. You will execute the test cases, report detected issues, and generate Release Notes documents.As a Support Engineer, you will be analyzing the reported tickets by internal and external customers and trying to reproduce and narrow down the issue to assess what module is the originator, participating in joint troubleshooting sessions with the internal or external customers, and providing regular feedback until resolution. On-duty periods are compensated.To be successful in the role you must have:1 or 2 years of experience in Automation Testing fundamentally using Python-based frameworks, such as Selenium/Appium and ideally Robot Framework.Experience in App (Android, iOS), Web, API, and backend testing.Ability to work in a collaborative environment.Familiarity with remote testing setup and configuration (e.g., using Remote Desktop or similar tools) and, especially, setting up close-to "device farm" test environments.Agile habits and familiarity with JIRA and the Atlassian suite.Product Lifecycle Management knowledge.Systematic and detail-oriented to repeat variants of the tests until finding the steps to reproduce the issue.Proactive and creative problem solver with the ability to multitask.Good troubleshooting and analytic skills.Capability to manage many and conflicting requests for multiple stakeholders.A can-do attitude and result orientation.Good English language skills in both writing and conversation.Education: Graduate degree or Degree in Vocational Technical Training.What's in it for you?
