Reporting to: Revenue Management Team Lead Based in: Madrid, Spain Open opportunity: Jr Markets Settlement Analyst (Renewable portfolio) The selected professional will support the management and understanding of electricity markets, focusing on Spain, Italy, Chile, and Mexico, as well as handle PPAs and settlements requirements.
What will you do?
Take charge of the asset billing process, including market and PPA settlements.
Acquire a basic knowledge of the different markets and PPAs managed.
Assist with communication with stakeholders such as Market Agents, Control Centers, PPA counterparties, market operators, and TSOs.
Provide support in contract negotiations necessary for proper asset operation.
Support the management of green certificate trading, including negotiation operations, managing contracts, and keeping an inventory of volumes committed under PPAs.
Handle the issuance and export of green certificates from registration to transfer processes.
Assist with reporting tasks for various operational projects.
Analyze electricity markets, monitor MWh prices, prepare reports, and identify key operational challenges like curtailment or communication failures.
What do we need?
At least two years of experience in a similar company (sector-specific experience is not mandatory).
Knowledge of database management.
Proficiency in Excel for programming.
Interest in renewable energy.
Advanced level of English and Spanish.
