His role is to assist the finance department in taking sound decisions using detailed analysis from data gathered and preparing reports.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in the preparation of financial reportsPerform data entry, verification, and back-up; and maintain databaseMonitor variances and follow up on discrepanciesEnsure regulatory reporting packages are prepared accurately and timely on a quarterly/monthly basisEnsure adherence to regulatory requirements and keeping up to date with the latest developmentsAssist with the researching and resolving technical accounting issuesConduct ad-hoc analyses and projects as neededConstant improvement of controls environment and the regulatory reporting frameworkSkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills in SpanishHigh level of EnglishCritical thinker, problem solver and decision makerEthical and principledProactive and diligentExcellent interpersonal skillsGood organisational/time management skillsWillingness to learn, change status quo, and not take No for an answerKnowledge/AbilitiesHigh level of proficiency with Microsoft OfficeAbility to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skillsComfortable working with technologyEducationBachelor's Degree in FinanceExperience TargetDesirable 1-2 years Financial Services and reporting experienceIf you are a financial and technological lover, this is your company.
