While all Animation studios look to hire people who are creative and hard-working, Skydance Animation is specifically looking for pioneers who seek to push the limits of what the world's most collaborative art form can achieve, and to give those pioneers the space and the resources to build a new studio that's doing something different.As an office automation developer, you will be helping our production teams (and other departments when needed) by designing tools and proposing solutions to improve our efficiency in Microsoft Office.Responsibilities Reviews, optimizes and debugs existing codes.Participates in designing tools and proposes optimizations and solutions for efficiencies.Develops database structures, views, stored procedures, functions and triggers.Collects and connects data across databases and information sources.Develops tools and automation solutions using VBA and/or Office Script.Optimizes scripts for cross-platform use (Mac/Windows).Identifies and resolves bugs for day-to-day use and large-scale implementation.Troubleshoots issues and proposes fixes when required.Keeps up on current artistic methodologies and on technology trends and tools that best suit the production and the company in the development of a stronger creative and technical environment.Collaborates with other team members, when necessary.Follows the Supervisor's and Lead ´s guidance.Requirements 3-5 years of professional experience.Proven experience in building tools with VBA and/or Office Script.Advanced knowledge of Excel and Office.Experience with large-scale data management with multiple inputs/outputs.Knowledge of .NET and SQL Server a plus.Knowledge to interact with REST APIs.Understand users' requirements, seeking clarification when necessary.Medium-high English level.Spanish desirable.Skydance is a diversified media company founded by David Ellison in 2010 to create high quality, event-level entertainment for global audiences.
