We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst / Data Scientist to join our multidisciplinary team supporting our EU Category management. Category management at Gopuff is responsible for the commercial performance of our business, by making assortment/ranging decisions, managing price & promotions, etc. You will support the rapid growth of our business by developing business metrics, mining data to uncover consumer insights and driving process improvements.Working with our centralized Data Engineering and Technology teams to create business tools to help us scale by putting data at the heart of every decision.Responsibilities You will answer complex business questions through quantitative analytics of our category performance and customer behaviour, extracting meaningful and actionable insights and learn from large and complicated data sets.You will play an active role in the development of new measurement and analytical approaches that transform our understanding of our performance.You will influence both strategic and tactical decision making in our EU Leadership and Category Management teams through your analysis, strong communication skills, and by proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.You will own the design, development and scaling of our automated and user-friendly reports & dashboards.You will work closely with our Data Engineering team to implement reliable & scalable data pipelines that manage & transform the information we need.You will nurture and support a culture of data-driven decision making through coaching & supporting teams to increase their data literacy and confidence.You will occasionally support our Customer Insights team, supporting them with their research projects and helping to embed learnings into the Category teams.Qualifications Master's degree in Quantitative Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Engineering or an equivalent field.4 years+ of related experience in Business Intelligence / Analytics function, ideally in an e-commerce industry or similar.Expert level in SQL is a must-have, ideally with experience using DBT and Snowflake.Experience using BI tools, ideally Looker & Tableau.Programming experience with Python/R and Github preferred, but not required.Exceptional communication skills, with a drive to influence your business partners and stakeholders.Experience working in a fast-paced environment, such as an early stage startup, is preferred as you deal with an evolving business and sector.Ultimately, you care about impact, love a challenge, and take ownership in solving problems.At Gopuff, we know that life can be unpredictable
