The Leibniz Institute on Aging - Fritz Lipmann Institute e.V. (FLI) in Jena is a research institution in the Leibniz Association that is jointly funded by the federal government and the state of Thuringia.
The internationally renowned, highly competitive research activities of the FLI are focused on the biomedical causes of ageing. Scientists from over 40 countries are researching the molecular basis of ageing and the development of age-associated diseases. The smooth running of science and research at the FLI requires a high level of transparency in administrative processes. As a service provider for science, the administration department makes a significant contribution to the work of researchers at the FLI.
The Project Manager (m/f/d) is to take on a central role as a bridge builder between the specialist areas of administration and IT as a process manager.
With extensive know-how in ERP, CRM, and HR modules as well as an affinity for data and data structures, he or she should energetically drive forward the change projects and process implementation.
Your Tasks: Responsibility for the conversion/upgrade of the SAP environment to a (new) ERP system
Implementation of project management for the timely introduction of a modern ERP and HR system
Coordination and moderation of the interface between the specialist departments, the key users, and the implementation partners
Planning work steps and creating and communicating project plans
Organization and management of project meetings
Recognizing risks and critical project progress and communicating them
Recognizing weaknesses and potential for improvement in the processes
Modeling efficient processes in close cooperation with the specialist departments in the context of digital transformation
Your Profile: Degree in business administration, industrial engineering, business informatics or a similar course of study
Several years of relevant professional experience in working with ERP and/or HR systems and their functionality as well as a very good process understanding of an operational process organization
Sound experience in project management/project leadership as well as in classic and/or agile methodology; experience in managing complex (ERP) implementation projects desirable
Very good communication skills in both German and English
Analytical, conceptually strong and process-oriented way of working, paired with a confident and engaging demeanor
Mastery of common tools of the trade, such as MS Office programs or project management software

Employment contract in accordance with the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L), full-time or part-time, initially limited to two years.
Remuneration in accordance with the TV-L, depending on qualifications and experience, an additional annual special payment (Christmas bonus), 30 working days' vacation per calendar year, two days off on 24/31 December, performance bonus system and an attractive company pension scheme with the Versorgungsanstalt des Bundes und der Länder (VBL).
