For our information technology department, we are looking for a:n IT architect:in
The area of responsibility includes:
Development and implementation of IT architectures that meet the current and future requirements of the Hanseatic City of Lübeck
Analysis of the existing IT infrastructure and identification of optimization potentials
Creation of technical concepts and solution designs for new IT projects
Working closely with internal stakeholders to understand and implement IT architecture requirements
Evaluate and select technologies, platforms and tools to support the IT architecture
Ensuring compliance with security standards and data protection guidelines in the IT architecture in close cooperation with the IT security officer
What is expected:
Degree (e.g. computer science, business informatics, mathematics, physics, communications engineering or engineering sciences) or comparable qualification or proven equivalent skills and experience (e.g. through many years of relevant professional experience that qualifies for the advertised position)
Several years of professional experience as an IT architect or in a similar position
Sound knowledge in the development and implementation of IT architectures
Experience in the evaluation and selection of technologies and platforms
Experience in the introduction and use of EAM tools (e.g. LeanIX, Sparx EA, MEGA)
Good knowledge of networks, servers, databases and cloud technologies
One or more professional certifications in the field of IT architecture (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman, FEAF and DoDAF) or IT strategy (FitSM or CoBiT) are desirable
High thematic flexibility, multitasking professional with hands-on mentality
Strong analytical and conceptual skills
Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills

The average regular working week is 39 hours; the tasks are evaluated according to pay group EG12 TVöD. In addition, employees covered by collective agreements are offered a company pension scheme. Part-time working models are possible by arrangement.
