For our IT service provider Deutsche Rentenversicherung NOW IT GmbH, Deutsche Rentenversicherung Rheinland is looking for a member of the Infrastructure Services division for the Competence Center (KC) Printing, Carrier Printing team at the Düsseldorf site at the earliest possible date.
Administrator for Document Production (f/m/d) The Print Competence Center and the Carrier Printing team are responsible for the production of all central and in-house print outputs.
They operate, monitor, and maintain all production machines, including high-performance printing and inserting machines, as well as machines for individual printing and the processing of print products such as magazines and posters.
Your Area of Responsibility Includes: Preparation and provision of all electronically accessible documents for processing by the special printing department in accordance with the quality standards for accessible products.
Configuration and maintenance of the hardware and software required for the creation of accessible products (e.g., large print, Braille, audio and text CDs).
Design and production of chip cards including functional testing.
Administration and maintenance of all hardware and software to be used for the tasks.
Implementation of all necessary backup and fallback scenarios according to Kritis standard in the area of responsibility.
Customer support.
Your Qualification: If possible, you have completed training as an IT specialist specializing in system integration or training as a media or graphic designer, or a comparable relevant qualification at level 4 of the German Qualifications Framework.
You should also have the following specialist knowledge: Experience in the administration of Linux and Windows servers and the necessary scripting languages.
Knowledge of print spooling systems such as VPS/X or PRISMA.
Knowledge of postage optimization and conversion systems.
Knowledge of Adobe CC, Adobe InDesign.
Basic knowledge of IT security and data protection as well as ITIL.
Experience in project work and process management.
Your Personality Profile: You have a high degree of customer and service orientation, along with conceptual and analytical skills and an independent way of working.
Flexibility and the ability to work under pressure are just as much a part of your strengths as a high level of commitment.
Continuous further training and independent familiarization with new subject areas are expected, as is a willingness to travel on business.
Good German language skills round off your profile.
