This role duties and tasks will require a high level of flexibility, resilience, and prioritization skills to successfully accomplish tasks.Position ResponsibilitiesEngage in contract drafting, reviewing, and negotiating with customers, critical suppliers, and partners such as NDAs, commercial agreements, service provider agreements, software license and software commercialization agreements, consultancy services.Draft and update templates of agreements to keep them aligned with the strategy of the company and review them with the team members.Provide legal advice and assist other departments such as sales, marketing, engineering, and HR on matters related to French and Spanish legislation, GDPR, regulatory compliance, and software licenses.Participate in due diligence processes as well as draft and/or review due diligence reports.Assist and participate in the management of legal disputes and litigation under the guidance of our Legal Counsel.Coordinate, collaborate with and instruct external lawyers and manage their budgets.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in both Spain and France and GDPR requirements.Assist in drafting compliance with internal Group policies.Use excellent business judgment to assess legal risk while also thinking strategically and providing practical, business-oriented service.Stay informed about relevant French and Spanish laws, GDPR updates, and other compliance regulations, and assist in updating internal policies accordingly.Provide administrative support to our Legal Counsel in the preparation of contracts, legal documents, and agreements.Assist the Legal Counsel with and execute global initiatives of the group related to ethics and compliance.Position RequirementsThe professional we are seeking:Minimum 2 years of relevant experience working in a tech company or in a law firm with software agreements (licenses, implementation, distribution), compliance requirements & GDPR implementation experience.Fluent in Spanish & English.
French is a strong value.Knowledge of GDPR requirements and local Personal Data legislation and Compliance.Knowledge of IT and IP laws as well as the European data privacy/security laws.Strong interest in software contracts, intellectual property laws, data privacy, and commercial regulations.
