This will involve communicating with the UK and headquarters to fully understand the procedures.
They will be responsible for the analysis of testing data, compiling data and presenting findings to key stakeholders and colleagues.
In addition, the person in the role will lead a team of Testing and Commissioning Technicians.
The role will require frequent travel around the UK to perform testing required by both CAF and clients.Location : Crewe, UK.Key Role and ResponsibilitiesDevelop test procedures and method statements to support the test programme.Manage and oversee the electrical & mechanical systems installation, integrity, maintenance and fault rectification of the train borne test equipment and manage the testing contractors as necessary in accordance with procedures.Ensure measurement systems are documented and maintained in accordance with procedures.Carry out Testing duties, including maintaining testing logs and documents and controlling test data in accordance with relevant procedures.Analyse test data and reporting test results to relevant stakeholders.Liaise with relevant systems experts in Engineering to progress commissioning and type testing issues.Lead a team of Testing Technicians.Ensure accurate records are completed and maintained in accordance with procedures in place, and work in progress is communicated to Line Managers and team members.Ensure that all work carried out is compliant with health, safety and environmental legislation and Company quality management systems/policies and procedures.Carry out quality checks to ensure, where relevant, product meets quality and safety standards.Minimum RequirementsHas a degree in Engineering
