The Sibelco Group operates over 110 production sites in 31 countries, with a team of over 5,000 people.Location: Bilbao HQ OfficeAs a Pricing Specialist, you will be responsible for monthly analyzing pricing performance, addressing pricing issues in systems, identifying, and communicating price opportunities with the commercial organization. You will generate, evaluate, and recommend pricing scenarios for Sibelco's products and services to provide analytical support to the Pricing Manager. You will be a key player in the yearly price review cycle that covers the global update of product and transport prices. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a process on setting product list prices.The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, with the ability to interpret data, develop insights, and make strategic recommendations to drive business results.Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Pricing Review Cycle: Lead yearly price review cycle with data quality checks and stakeholder communication. Define timelines and execute the review (ambition setting, approval, upload, and monitoring) using Python scripts for data integrity. Train commercial teams on pricing systems and prepare customer communication. Update product and transport list prices in SAP, linking them with customer-specific conditions.Pricing Scenarios: Conduct monthly pricing analysis and monitor performance against targets. Identify discrepancies through variance analysis. Develop and maintain pricing models and tools. Collaborate with sales and finance to adjust pricing strategies. Gather input from various departments to align processes and systems. Prepare and update key analytics for monthly performance reviews.Market Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes.Continuous Improvement: Analyze pricing strategy effectiveness and follow up on corrective actions.
