It includes one of the world's most far-reaching property casualty networks.About the roleWhat you need to know:We are seeking an Underwriting Assistant (TEMPORARY 6 months) to support Financial Lines Line of Business.The role will perform business processing transactions across all ranges of complexity serving as a team resource for the resolution of escalated issues.
Responsibilities include:Drive timelines, including UW timelines, and engage them in the different products to provide the best level of service in small and middle market products.Manage all pre-bind tasks, including:Submissions: clearing blocksRenewal process management: gathering data, updating files, working with underwriting guidelines, Brokers requirements, and local renewal streaming rules.Book, bind and issue: creating booking instructions, reviewing reinsurance and multinational securities, FAC documentation, confirmation of coverage, and uploading documents to common repository.Cancellation process management, direct contact with Brokers and Clients.Public tenders administration.Manage client and employee needs, assisting with calls and emails related to issues and providing information to the appropriate service.Customer service and help to AIG Clients and brokers.Record transactions into the AIG system.Coordination with Underwriting department to consolidate data of different business operations in the systems.Contact and coordination with Shared Services to execute several admin tasks.What we're looking for:Experience in the insurance industry (within administration or Underwriting support departments).
High School graduation required.
Law or Business Administration degree will be a plus.
Fluent English skills (written & spoken).
Excellent customer service and attention to detail.
Outgoing and entrepreneurial personality.
