The researcher will work in an interdisciplinary biomedical environment helping in bringing to completion the project entitled "CFTR downregulation enhances pancreatic carcinogenesis and promotes cancer invasion and metastasis" funded by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.JOB DESCRIPTIONEducation and qualifications:Required:Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Life/Health Sciences or Biomedical Research (Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedicine)PhD Degree in Biology, Biomedicine or similar.Title certifying qualification to work with experimental animalsGood publication recordDesired:Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (business level)Good communication skillsExperience and knowledge:Required:Strong sense of responsibility, organization, initiative and self-motivationCommunication skills in meetings, formal and informal discussions.Proficiency in Microsoft Office package, statistical analysis and graphics software and software related to molecular biology techniques.Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.Specific knowledge and expertise:Experience in handling experimentation animalsKnowledge in histopathology and cytopathologyExperience in genotyping, qRT-PCR, cell culture (both cell lines and primary culture) and western blotting.Knowledge in flux cytometry will be appreciated.Knowledge in autophagy, intracellular organelles and ER physiology will be highly valued.Main responsibilities and duties:To assume the responsibility to develop the working plan of the project to its best options
