Want to join us? We are hiring an experienced Sales Manager for the Elite Business Unit, to grow our Mid-market focused POD in EMEA.

This role is focused on EMEA and Latam Elite Mid-Market customers in the Sports industry (small and medium sport clubs/teams). This leader will be managing Hybrid field/remote L2 AEs and CSMs, driving new sales to T3-4-5 leagues and teams in multiple sports. Sales Managers are expected to oversee a sales POD including customer success and all revenue lines in their territory or verticals, assuring New Annual Recurring Revenue growth as well as fostering engagement in existing customer base and attaining high retention targets. In addition, this role will be responsible for critical decision-making across the Mid-Market team, revenue forecasting and attainment, sales marketing campaigns, career development and coaching of the individual contributors on their teams. Hudl has a flexible location policy. Once we can safely return to our offices, we'll leave it up to you to decide where you want to work: Barcelona or Milan.

Management ResponsibilitiesDirect responsibility for $5+ million in ARR targets for your teams, with hyper-growth expected in future years. Must drive change to meet goals of 35%+ ARR growth per year and be responsible for overall customer success and retention targets.Immediate supervisor of approximately 8+ people among AEs & Customer Success Managers. As the Sales team continues to grow, the level of management may evolve and expand.Education, Experience and LanguagesBachelor's degree required. Post-graduate experience or MBA is preferred.3+ Years of transactional sales management experience in multiple countries would be required for this role. Previous Manager-level experience and management of medium teams (10+ people) and ARR targets over $4M is a must.Fluency in at least 2 European languages and in English is a must.TravelThis role would require up to 20% travel time.
You AreExperienced. You have at least 4+ years of international SaaS sales & customer success experience, selling to Sport organizations and/or Small and Medium enterprise customers. 3+ years of leadership track record managing other leaders, hiring and scaling sales teams. You have been constantly overachieving goals in Inside or field sales at international scale.Knowledgeable. A high level of systems knowledge is required for success in this role. This person must be able to use Salesforce and Slack professionally, as well as he/she will need to navigate and/or learn using Hudl products.A Coach. Effective coaching skills are imperative for a Sales Manager. They must be comfortable in coaching their teams, managers, reps, account managers and SDRs. Coaching will occur daily in this role, both in the office and in the field.An Inspiration. This person must be able to inspire theirs and the broader sales team on the goals of the department and company. He/she must create buy-in and cast the vision of the sales team.Creative. This person must consistently add value by thinking outside the box to level-up the teams, increase growth rates or lower costs. Examples could be fine-tuning current processes, online campaigns, bundles, improving efficiencies across the team or finding new markets or methods to produce revenue.A High-Integrity Character. The character and actions of this person must never be in question. Decisions must be made to benefit Hudl and the larger sales team with Hudl's long-term vision and company values in mind.You WillLead multiple Sales AEs and CSMs in order to achieve ambitious revenue targets.Direct sales activities within the assigned regions, sports, verticals markets.Review KPIs, pacing and overall performance and provide actionable feedback to reps, including career development & coaching of direct and indirect reports.Build outbound sales strategies and campaigns to grow online and remote sales as well as in order to improve lead generation across your regions, in collaboration with the Marketing team.Disagree and Commit. Decisions must be made that don't always align with personal preferences. This person must be able to acknowledge these disagreements and state their position, but ultimately buy-in and commit to the final decision.Drive Accountability.
