Let's Talk about the RoleThe eCommerce Trading & Performance Manager will be responsible to drive sales and profit growth for Timberland own & operated online shop serving 14 European countries.
Reporting to the Head of eCommerce Trading & Merchandising, you will partner with the merchandise planning & buying, user experience, digital merchandising teams and third-party agencies to implement the eCommerce trading and digital marketing strategies through commercial calendar definition and digital marketing experience coordination.
You will have full accountability for the ongoing trading strategies optimisation from calendar definition to digital marketing budget coordination (campaign definition, brief and sign-off).
Primary Accountabilities:Business planning: definition of the yearly business plan across traffic, conversion rate, average order value, demand revenue and return rate in partnership with merchandising planning, go-to-market and finance teams.Business analysis: with the support of a Senior Analyst, ensure a data-driven approach to track, analyse and report eCommerce performance with focus on geographies evolution, acquisition channel KPIs development and performance budget efficiency.Trading Calendar: definition and ownership of the overarching commercial calendar including specific trading events (mid/end of season sales, cyber week) and coordination of the execution strategies in partnership with digital merchandising, user experience, CRM / Loyalty, Brand and operations teams.Digital marketing: management of the relationship with the agencies holding responsibility for the digital marketing budget investment defining performance marketing plans to maximize target achievement while ensuring best-in-class digital campaign execution (covering content, translations, timelines) also in alignment with the brand marketing function.Skills for Success:Relevant and in-depth work experience (5+ years) with a proven track record in eCommerce Trading & Digital Marketing (performance).Highly performance driven and result-oriented team player with strong business acumen.Relevant Digital Marketing experience & knowledge of main ad platforms and invest strategies.Good understanding of eCommerce customer journey & merchandising principles.Relevant web analytics experience (Google Analytics, Adobe Omniture) and BI systems with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Excellent communication skills influencing cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.High maturity in managing organisational complexity and effective communication.Strategic and operational decision-making.Ability to work with others as part of a cross-functional team, build consensus, and achieve results across a variety of distinct groups.Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.Language skills: fluent in English.
