The Head of Finance will serve as a key member of the leadership team.Head Of FinanceLocation: MadridDate: 01 SepResponsibilities:Develop and align financial strategies with overall company goals.Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and regular reporting for compliance and investor relations.Analyze key financial metrics like gross margins and customer LTVs to inform strategy.Forecast financial outcomes based on current trends and strategic initiatives.Maintain efficiency by leveraging external specialists and avoiding premature specialization.Build, train, and lead the finance team, optimizing staffing and performance.Oversee cash flow, funding, and day-to-day financial operations including payrolls and procurement.Implement and refine financial systems and processes for improved efficiency.Coordinate with investors and financial institutions; participate in fundraising and strategic investor discussions.Handle stock compensation plans and collaborate with legal advisors for compliance.Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards, managing the company's risk profile.Requirements:7+ years experience, preferably as finance head or similar role, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment.Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.Ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a high-growth, dynamic environment.Leadership skills to manage both senior financial strategists and operational finance staff.Excellent communication skills for both internal team management and external investor relations.Strong understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.Significant experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
