Job OverviewThe IT INF NIO Global Network Operations Team is looking for a Network Engineer to orchestrate Operational Excellence for the deployment of ISE (Identity Service Engine) and NAC (Network Access Control) in all 200 locations at BI, working together with the ISE-NAC Product Team.
Tasks and ResponsibilitiesEnsure that Network Operations is always included in any system/service development in alignment with the Product Owner and System Leads.Partner with the Product Team members and local stakeholders to sustainably deploy standard configurations for the rollout of NAC worldwide.Ensure that the systems and components that are part of the ISE-NAC Product Team are properly monitored.Ensure that the 1st (1TOC) and 2nd (BICORE) Tier Operational Teams have the right processes in place to execute daily operations.Identify and push automation in network operations for systems in scope.Continuous communication and periodic review with the vendors to improve stability and troubleshooting processes.Contribute to designing a robust and secure architecture for our ISE-NAC environment with a focus on Operational excellence.Ensure successful liaison with related teams, stakeholders, and Boehringer Ingelheim business units.Ensure official SLC documentation is done accordingly and drive automation and process improvement initiatives.Identify proper global and regional stakeholders and build strong working relationships.Continuously watch service delivery quality in alignment with operational team and IT global KPIs.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field with 5 years of experience or equivalent.Experience in complex global network operations.Experience in TCP/IP networks, WAN and SD-WAN architecture, LAN, CISCO ISE, NAC deployments, Firewall, Remote Access, Proxy, and IP Management tools.Understanding of project management methodologies, especially AGILE and Waterfall.Understanding of Cloud environments and architecture (Mainly AWS and Azure).Understanding of network automation (mainly ANSIBLE and Python programming language).Experience working in an international and intercultural environment with availability to travel.Excellent spoken and written English.Willingness and readiness to travel.Self-driven person with excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, team collaboration, customer orientation, and teamwork.
