Java Software Engineer

Senior or Midlevel Java Developer (fulltime, remote) One of our clients is for a Senior and 1 Midlevel Java Developer on a freelance basis. There is already an existing team of 4-5 backend engineers. Due to the amount of work and tight deadline, there is a need for additional help. They are modernizing the legacy (updating to a newer version of Java) code and creating microservices simultaneously. Techstack: Java | Spring | Spring Boot | MySQL | Kafka | Maven | Grafana Dashboards | Microservices Project Details: Start: 01.03.2025 End: 31.12.2025 Place: fully remote within Europe Language: English Who you are: You have a passion for writing clean code and an eye for simplicity and pragmatism At least 3 years of programming skills in Java and the Spring Framework for midlevel You feel comfortable with object-oriented design You can operate with Kafka for messaging between the microservices You have some experience in Logging/monitoring/secrets management If you are interested in this project, then send me your CV and your hourly rate.
