and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers As a Java Software Engineer in the Customer eXperience you will be in charge of:Work with topnotch tech stack including Java 11 BigData Kafka Cassandra BigTable Redis Neo4j machine learning models Datamesh Docker Kubernetes Google Cloud Sonarqube and DatadogDevelop powerful and advanced algorithms that are at the forefront of innovation in travel tech eg new ways to predict airline cancellations and new ways to automate super complex business flows noone else has achieved so farBuild and leverage your technical excellence mindset to code solutions with the highest quality through good design attention to detail and test qualityWork with a distributed scalable microservices platform where software gets deployed daily with high quality clean code SOLID principles and TDDWork with talented colleagues who will mentor you and help you develop your career super fastWork in a fully agile organisation using Kanban practices to deliver business value continuouslyBe part of a high performing cross functional team of 710 developers POs UXers QAs data scientists etc all sharing the systemsStrong technical problem solving skills Creativity and proactivity to come up with creative options to deliver solutions and identify opportunities to improveExperience across the software development life cycle ideally not just the developing coding phase Ability to do technical analysis work with UX test deploy into production perform monitoring etcA growth mindset seeking
