Interviews: The average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position. During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining scalable and reliable software solutions. This role requires a bilingual professional proficient in both English and Spanish, capable of communicating effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
WHAT WOULD YOU NEED?
4+ years of professional experience in Java development.
Strong experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
Proficiency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
AND IF IN ADDITION...
Knowledge of front-end technologies is a plus.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Develop and maintain high-quality Java applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code while ensuring software performance, quality, and responsiveness.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to improve functionality and performance.
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from initial design to deployment and beyond.
Work in an Agile environment to continuously deliver and improve software solutions.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring adherence to best practices.
