Position Overview Your main responsibility will be to lead the Product & Production Technical Team aligned to the Company overall strategy in terms of Product (Range) development, Product improvement, Supplier development (including own production setups) linked to continuous improvement.
It will include resources mainly located in the Headquarters of the company (Position location) as well as supervising the sourcing at the Representative office in this field.
The main drivers for this role are total cost reduction (raw material optimization, production cost, logistic and handling cost), T2M for NPL and EPI, product compliance (secure product documentation, specification working methods, manuals and others related to product and production governance).
This position will report to the Chief Manufacturing Officer at Kave Home and will lead the Product Engineering Manager (incl.
operational Team) dedicated to Product Documentation as well as the Production Engineers (splitted into main Material/Technologies for Kave Home Range).
Key Responsibilities Create and implement Product Documentation at Suppliers supported by Local Team.
Define Critical Production Processes and monitor Supplier Performance and Risks through Local Teams.
Support negotiations with Suppliers to reach most efficient outcomes.
Gather product improvements opportunities from production perspective to increase competitiveness.
Verify Supplier Selection (based on RFQ results) for New Ranges from Capability perspectives.
Support multiple sourcing or price development due to redistribution to avoid potential quality deviations.
Qualifications and Skills Minimum 10 years in Manufacturing environment, including 5 years in a Managerial Role (preferably Furniture, Auto industry or related).
Engineering degree.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Kave Home Ambassador (value fit).
Experience with remote Team leadership.
Travel flexibility (min 10 days per month local and international).
Negotiating skills (experience with third party negotiations).
Analytical and process-oriented leadership approach.
