If you were to join us as a Preparation Support Manager, here is what you need to know: Salary: £30,000 per annum plus bonus Location: Glasgow Hours: 42.5 per week, 5 days over 7 rota, including the weekends. Our workshops are a key department on every site and we are looking for a Preparation Support Manager to manage the workshop and vehicle preparation team. As a Preparation Support Manager, you will help us to shake off all those outdated car industry clichés and help us drive into the fast lane towards becoming the most desired car retailer. Let us tell you a little bit about what you will be doing: Supporting the yard operations and team to prepare vehicles for site display and customer collection Coaching, leading and developing the Yard and Workshop team Ensuring low level of issues such as price boards and preparation issues are identified during the buyer's pitch visit Ensuring work is allocated to individuals and productivity and quality are balanced Maintaining good administrative procedures and filing of relevant documents Working closely with subcontractors on site, maintaining relationships Liaising with sales team members and assisting where necessary Carrying out all duties in line with the company's health and safety policies and procedures, and the safe-to-work instructions Due to the nature of the role you will need a full UK driving licence. We are looking for someone who has a proven track record in a similar role, in particular workshop control, quality control and managing logistics along with people management and leadership experience.
