Job Details Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning was established on October 1st, 2015 as a joint venture between Hitachi Appliances, Inc. (now Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc.) and Johnson Controls, Inc. Hitachi Appliances carved out and contributed its air conditioning business to the Joint Venture.
Johnson Controls acquired a 60% stake of the carved-out business and Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc. continues as a 40% shareholder of this venture.

For our Vacarisses Plant, in Barcelona, we are looking for a:
Power Electronic EngineerWhat you will do The Power Electronic Engineer designs, develops and works with suppliers of electronic hardware to be implemented on the unit, as well as to follow up with local and global team requested components replacement and their validation.
How you will do it Analyses electronic circuits, their parts specifications and electrical power circuits (Inverters, rectifiers, etc).Propose new or alternative electronic/electrical parts or assemblies for Cost Reduction, due to End of Live/Lack of parts procurement of current parts or improve circuit performance.Offers solution architectures to meet the needs.Works on electronic designs (schematics), component sizing and theoretical analysis to study the worst cases scenarios and thus take into account all the potential stress experienced by the components (stress tests).Creates schematics on CAD or other proper software.Components/units test Testing follow up for the new/alternative electrical parts approval.Support R&D team in the research of the correct hardware platform and required adjustments for control PCB and Inverter PCB.What we are looking for Electronical Engineer in Power Systems, or Electronic Engineers if they are experienced in power circuits.Min 5 years similar experience.Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, inverter, PCB.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills.Strong planning and organizational skills.Ability to work independently.High level of English.What we offer Johnson Control offers an interesting compensation package according to your qualification and experience.
