Job Description Importante empresa Group, leader in the Bridal sector, is looking for an Accounting Specialist for our headquarters in Barcelona.
Reporting to the Accounting & Tax Manager, the Senior Accountant will be performing general accounting & tax activities for Spanish and foreign subsidiaries.
Main Responsibilities: Ensure that data is accurate and complies with generally accepted accounting principles, regulatory standards and company policies.
Responsible for the month-end closing tasks, reviewing the P&L and BS.
With appropriate supporting documentation, prepare journal entries relating to amortisation, depreciation, accruals, deferrals, reclass, intercompany entries and a variety of other information.
Analyse financial information and ensure that data supports budgeting requirements and provide solutions to control issues.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
Minimum Requirements: University degree in Finance or Accounting.
5+ years of experience in accounting in an international work environment.
Solid knowledge of Spanish GAAP; other GAAPs will be valued.
Solid knowledge of the Spanish taxation system; other taxation systems will be valued.
Good MS Excel skills, experience with ERP systems.
Advanced English and Spanish; other languages will be valued.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, creating an environment allowing timely information flows throughout the organization.

Capable of generating, improving, maintaining, and documenting processes and ensuring quality results.
Good organizational and analytical skills with a hands-on attitude.
Ability to function well in a fast-paced team environment.
