The Group Badalona Applied Research Group in Oncology (B·ARGO) is seeking a Superior Laboratory Technician to support the research lines focused on urological tumors.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESPreparation and processing of biological samples, including fresh, fixed, and paraffin-embedded tissues.Implementation and optimization of immunohistochemistry techniques.Management and maintenance of laboratory equipment and reagent inventories.Collaboration with the scientific team in the organization and execution of experiments.Clinical data management using the REDCap tool.Quality assurance and adherence to standardized protocols.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's Degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Biomedicine or similar.Advanced Training Certificate in Pathological Anatomy and Cytology or similar.More than two years of proven prior experience in the processing and management of biological samples.Knowledge of histology and the use of optical microscopes.Proficiency in cell culture techniques.Demonstrable knowledge of molecular biology.Skills in using the REDCap database for clinical data management.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.High level of organization and precision in laboratory work management.WHAT WE OFFERIndefinite contract (contrato indefinido por actividades científico-técnicas, ley de la ciencia 14/2011).Start date: January 2, 2025.Gross annual remuneration inherent to the square objected to this call, will be fixed based on the experience provided and the skills of the candidate, distributed in 12 payments.Flexible payment (childminding vouchers).23 days holiday and 5 days for personal matters + 2 days for Easter + 2 days for Christmas.Training capsules by the company.Be part of an excellent multidisciplinary research centre with the HRS4R badge.Location on the Can Ruti Campus, a first-class translational research environment in the Barcelona area, in a very stimulating scientific environment.The IGTP offers a supportive, friendly and collaborative ecosystem to promote professional development and help you achieve your research goals.
