Sennder is Europe's leading digital freight forwarder.
In a traditional industry, we are moving fast to digitize and automate all road logistics processes.
We are a growing team looking for an Engineering Manager to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics.
You would join our Value-Added Services (VAS) area in the Berlin office (flexible hybrid home/office).
We value humility and we're as interested in your character as we are in your talent.
Please apply, even if you feel you only meet part of our listed criteria.
Diversity drives innovation and we offer an international and friendly work environment with an energetic company culture.
About the role: The Value-added Services (VAS) team strives to facilitate faster and cheaper delivery of goods for everyone, by providing carriers with the most compelling services to successfully finance, grow and easily manage their business.
Historically, carriers have been treated poorly as they are typically the weakest link in the supply chain/ecosystem of road freight logistics.
As a consequence, carriers have been underserved, dictated conditions not in their favor, and exposed to poor user experiences.
We believe that Sennder has the mandate and authority to offer services that have been designed to meet the needs of carriers and empower them to thrive in their business.
This 'carrier first' mentality is our biggest asset to succeed.

You'll be collaborating closely with product and design as well as with external partners to develop and scale customer-facing financial products.
