Procurement Manager - Data Centre Project Portfolio

The RoleAs a Procurement Manager focused on a major data centre development in Madrid, you will join our central Group Purchasing team and be the main point of contact between them and the Spanish projects. Key responsibilities will include:
Identifying, assessing, and monitoring local contractors to support our highly technical, complex turnkey projects.Collaborating with project teams to determine consultation strategies and market-mapping relevant subcontractors to be consulted.Managing work package consultations and taking part in verbal negotiations.Negotiating contractual terms with subcontracting companies.Establishing a panel of supplier partnership contracts for recurring material purchasing requirements.Assisting project teams with negotiations at project completion, along with any arising litigation.Your ProfileIf you've got a Master's degree in Purchasing, and have worked for a construction company in a similar position (whether it was for a General Contractor or CSA, HVAC or Electrical specialist), then this could be an ideal fit for you. If you are also a self-starter who has a real knack for building relationships and taking personal responsibility for maintaining those relationships, plus are the sort of person recognized as being great at communicating, detail-oriented, and analytical, then we definitely want to hear from you.
To be successful in this role, you will need to speak both Spanish and English fluently (plus French will be extremely beneficial in this position!). An ability to work with people from different cultures and technical backgrounds will leave you well placed to succeed and grow within the company.
