You as an IT Project Director will be a partner for successfully and professionally delivered large-scale strategic Siemens IT projects/programs to facilitate the Siemens company priorities and IT strategy. What is your role in this? As an IT Project Director, you will be leading IT projects/programs of our IT core capabilities focusing on mindset & culture change while supporting Siemens Business in boosting digital business technology platforms. Be passionate about IT project management and steer projects in completely new directions.
What will be your Tasks: Lead strategic IT programs in the area of Business Transformation and Business Applications like ERP, CRM, ecommerce according to defined project management standards and customer requirements with end-to-end responsibility.Lead several agile Teams according to Safe scaled agile framework and manage all assigned project staff (> 200 project team members, > 10 Mio EUR budget).Identify and evaluate continuously all opportunities for project enhancement as well as all evident risks, including suggesting appropriate countermeasures within the actual project.Control work results provided by suppliers/internal partners and escalate deficiencies in quality and cooperation.Be accountable for project results based on the strategic priorities and set goals (e.g., budget, quality, schedule, sustainability), managing the project through the entire project life cycle.Sell & promote your program within Siemens and externally.Develop a supplier strategy for your program.Stakeholder management (up to C-level).Perform contract management and supplier negotiations.Enhance and support IT Project Management Methodology.Enhance & support the Siemens IT Project Management Community platform.Support the IT Transformation in the domain of Siemens as-a-Service Business (Siemens Businesses).Transition Project Solution to Service organization with all IT service management processes.Your qualifications and skills you bring in: A master's degree in business economics, business informatics, electrical engineering, digital business management or equivalent with several years of work experience.10+ years of experience in leading large projects/programs (> 200 project team members, > 10 Mio EUR budget) with intercultural and international collaboration.Strategic thinking / forward-looking in programs.Experience in mentoring and coaching project managers.Worked on international delegation on onsite projects.Ideally Certified Project Manager (internal or external certifications).Ideally Certified as advanced Scrum Master and/or agile coach/SAFe agile framework.Knowledge in IT Service Management Process framework (ITIL 3.0).Understanding and experience in ecommerce and ERP Business solutions.Advanced communication and motivation skills.A well-structured way of thinking and working and a 'Getting things done' attitude.Leading by example.A growth mindset and continuous learning attitude.Fluent in English and German; additional languages round off your profile.
