The Sustainable Sourcing Manager further shapes our responsible sourcing practices and ensures continuous improvements of our supplier's performance related to sustainability, quality, and delivery.
The emphasis will be on the sustainability component.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure the improvement of the CSR (Ecovadis) scores of the supply base by engaging with suppliers and procurement category managers; as well as contributing to the Stahl assessment for the sustainable procurement chapter.Select vendors for site audits and assure that audits are done in a timely manner.Support ESG/CSRD with reporting on CS3D, Code of Conducts.Implement end-to-end supplier due diligence processes to promote responsible sourcing practices.Develop selected procurement processes to improve on supplier performance parameters: Delivery, Quality, Sustainability, and capture in the sustainable sourcing policy.Collaborate with Supply Chain and category managers to improve the delivery and quality performance of our vendor base.Support Stahl in its ambition to reduce scope 3 product carbon footprint by 25% through supplier education & engagement; and by participation in scope 3 working groups.Build data and metrics to inform on responsible vendor selection and procurement decisions.YOUR PROFILE, SKILLS AND ATTITUDE:
A bachelor's or master's degree in science, Engineering or Business Management.Approx.
3-5 years in a sustainability-oriented position, preferably in the chemicals/coatings industry.Team player.Management Skills.Excellent communication, influencing skills in English.Ability to work under minimal supervision with broad direction.Ability to synthesize complex information and formulate strategic or tactical approaches based on the analysis.Action-oriented and performance-driven.Creativity and Innovation and an eye for opportunities.Dare to challenge with a Continuous improvement mentality.WHAT DO WE OFFER?
