About the Role We are currently recruiting in JTB VIAJES SPAIN a Project Manager ENGLISH SPEAKING M&E with previous experience within the MICE industry to join our passionate team. This position will be based in Madrid. Responsibilities include: Determine client's needs and expectations, liaising with sales to ascertain client's precise requirements. Create, plan and deliver large-scale events for a variety of foreign clients across the year. Proposal creation and pitch, when required. Full logistics including accommodation bookings and all land arrangements throughout full domestic territory. Supplier management prior, during and after the event. Negotiating with third parties to maximize value creation. Client and account management to ensure repeat business. Onsite management of the event. Budget management and post event reconciliation. Produce pre/post event evaluation for analysis & enhance future service delivery level. Reporting to various stakeholders. Analysis, research and identification of issues, addressing those that can be resolved and make recommendations to management for improvement. On a monthly basis, ensure Atlas (M&E operational / financial system) is up to date. To succeed in the role: A passion for their job and the fast-paced event industry.
