TITLE: IT Server Infrastructure Engineer DEPARTMENT: IT REPORTING TO: Chief Information Security Officer LOCATION: Madrid, Spain JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent POSITION SUMMARY The IPC IT Server Team operates worldwide, managing IPC's internal business systems on both Windows and Linux platforms within a virtualized setting.
Additionally, the team supports a growing cloud infrastructure that remains hybrid and adapts constantly based on business needs.
This role is 100% hands-on technical process enhancement, vendor relationship coordination, and meeting project deadlines.
Responsibilities: Oversee the administration and maintenance of physical and virtual server environments (Windows, Linux, etc.
), ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security. Lead the design, deployment, and management of server infrastructure solutions, including hardware, software, and storage systems. Implement and oversee monitoring tools to ensure the health, availability, and performance of server environments. Develop, implement, and maintain disaster recovery and backup procedures to ensure data integrity and availability. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure that all server environments are secure and comply with security policies and standards (firewalls, patch management, access control, etc.
