Supports Engineering activities regarding implementation of the CMMS system and improvement in the Maintenance Area. Manage calibration system and supports the Maintenance department with CMMS, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Fields of responsibility:
Manage the calibration system.
Ensure the compliance of the annual calibration plan.
Manage external contractors and schedule their works taking into account production plan.
Propose improvements in the calibration system.
Reporting KPI for calibrations.
Work on CMMS system (Blue Mountain) for calibrations and support to the Maintenance department.
Support Maintenance department with preventive maintenance system.
Support Project department with new projects, especially with instruments and calibrations.
Author, review, revise, or approve Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) as required.
Author, review, revise, or approve deviations or change controls as required.
Stay current on developments in the field of Calibration and ALK Standards.
Work with managers effectively to execute the policies and goals of the organization.
Initiate plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, and materials.
Recommend improvements and desirable modifications in methods, procedures, processes, equipment and layout.
Interface with users, peers, and management to ensure appropriate input and integration of local and corporate standards.
Participate in site Operational Excellence initiatives.
Participate on cross-functional teams, who address specific problems, facilitate discussion and research, enabling procedures to become more efficient, and to build and enhance interdepartmental relationships.
Adhere to all ALK safety guidelines and procedures.
Provide technical support for Manufacturing and Packaging equipment, utilities and systems.
Perform all job responsibilities in compliance with applicable regulations, standard operating procedures, and industry practice.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree in Engineering (Preferably Mechanical/Electrical), other technical degrees (physics, mathematics…).
3 years of experience in Pharmaceutical industry. Other similar industries such as food and micro components can be relevant.
Experience with Pharmaceutical Maintenance and calibration practices.
Good software use skills.
Root cause analysis knowledge.
Proven ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Demonstrated time management skills; ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines.
Functional knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and lean maintenance methodologies.
Must have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and related software applications.
Willingness to change.
Adaptability, flexibility to new tasks.
