Responsibilities As a Senior Legal Counsel at Ukio, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to various teams within the company.
Your main responsibilities will include: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements, including lease agreements, partnership agreements, and vendor contracts.
Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations in relation to leasing operations, data protection, and intellectual property.
Advising on legal and regulatory risks and implications of business decisions and initiatives.
Managing legal disputes and liaising with external counsel when necessary.
Keeping abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company and providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive legal and compliance initiatives.
About you We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual with excellent communication and analytical skills.

Law degree from a reputable university and admission to the bar association.
Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, preferably with experience in real estate or commercial law.
Strong knowledge of contract law and ability to draft and negotiate commercial contracts.
Experience in advising on data protection and intellectual property matters is a plus.
Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Team player with a collaborative mindset.
Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment or strong knowledge of corporate law are a plus.
