Swissport is actively seeking an IT Support to join our team in HQ Madrid.Role & FunctionAs a local point of contact for users, the IT Support ensures the deployment of IT activities and provides Business and Operations IT support.ResponsibilitiesProvides assistance and daily basic support to Business and Operations, including IT equipment Break and Fix.Manage deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all current IT systems including Operating systems, Telecommunication, Software applications, and hardware peripherals.Provide Network and applications access.Support and provide helpdesk assistance to internal/external users and partners.Maintenance and preventive maintenance of IT equipment, hardware, and network.Make inventories of all IT equipment and peripherals and ensure frequent and periodic inventory updates.Participate in ongoing and upcoming projects.Research current and potential resources and services.Keep management and stations updated on progress.Identify and prepare hardware for disposal when appropriate.Monitor security of all technology and advise staff of security breaches and/or changes in password or security status.Communicate regularly with Management and all users of information services and systems.Keep current with the latest technologies and determine what new technology solutions and implementations will meet business and system requirements.RequirementsKnowledge of hardware and softwareUp-to-date knowledge of the latest IT and software trendsStrong communication skillsExcellent organisational skillsFlexibleEnthusiasm for continual learningWillingness to travel within Spain
