? What is the job about?You will assist our Cluers with all IT-related technical support issues.
As an IT support Linux Admin you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be providing technical support and assistance to our team members, resolving any issues related to Linux-based systems promptly and efficiently.
You will diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring the seamless functioning of our business-critical applications and services. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining an up-to-date inventory of hardware and software assets, as well as installing and configuring new software applications as needed.
Your expertise in Linux systems administration will be essential in optimizing system performance, ensuring security compliance, and implementing best practices for system management and maintenance.? What will you do? Deploying and maintaining Linux and Windows servers. Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks. Responding to Cluers IT support requests. Meeting with Cluers to diagnose software, networking, or hardware issues. Providing technical support on-site or via remote-access systems. Repairing hardware malfunctions, software issues, and networking problems. Installing and configuring Cluers computer systems. Maintain the inventory of technical equipment. Manage purchases (plan for future demand, order new hardware, etc). Managing the relationship with the providers (for IT services used by the company). Configuring online services used by the employees (Google apps, etc..) ? What profile are we looking for?
Mandatory: FP (Formación Profesional) /Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science. Minimum of 3-5 years of proven work experience as a technical support engineer,with a strong focus on Linux and Windowsusers. Knowledge of web services, API, and IP-based protocols. Experience with scripting languages such as Shell or Bash. Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Advanced English level. Ability to think critically. Valuable: Knowledge of computer hardware and networking systems. Knowledge of Atlassian suite (Jira & Confluence administration). Knowledge of ODOO ERP administration.
