Currently in your penultimate or final year and working towards a university degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or other tech fields.
Eligibility:
Eligible to complete a full-time internship of 3-6 months.
Highly proficient in both spoken and written English and Spanish (Common European Framework of Reference C1).
Note: This is a position to start in 2025. We do not offer any 2024 start date.

Key Job Responsibilities As an IT support engineer intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment, working alongside industry-leading engineers to solve complex technical challenges. Key aspects of the role include:
Delivering the consistently high level of IT support our customers have come to expect.
Managing and deploying a diverse array of IT devices and technologies across our various site types.
Dive deeply into technical details, diagnose, and reproduce straightforward issues with Amazon technology products (e.g., services, tools, data solutions, etc.).
Regular contact with the Amazon Operations teams and identify process improvement or standardization opportunities for the European network.
Work on innovative projects that have a direct impact on our customer experience.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and standardize systems, all with an eye towards enhancing the customer experience.
A Day in the Life As an Amazon Operations IT intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside the industry's brightest engineers who innovate every day on behalf of our customers. You will be matched to a local IT supervisor and a mentor, working together with the local IT team to provide technical support to the Operations network. Your work will contribute to solving some of the most complex technical challenges in the company.
About the Team Amazon Operations IT teams keep Amazon's operations running smoothly by resolving complex hardware, software, server, and infrastructure issues. Our support model is based on both on-site and remote support teams spread across our network.

Support The internship program provides a robust support system, including weekly intern office hours, dedicated IT and HR support, and a program team committed to your success.

Internship Start Dates We are hiring interns to start anytime from January through September 2025. Each month, we'll hold 1-2 onboarding days for new hires.
Minimum Requirements Basic knowledge of at least one of the following: systems, networks, or operating systems, including concepts like deployment, troubleshooting, and system upgrades on client devices and/or IT infrastructure.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows Server operating systems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify process improvements and innovative solutions.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate effectively with others.
Demonstrated curiosity, proactivity, and willingness to take on challenges in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
Experience with troubleshooting Networks (LAN/WAN).
