You will support our entire organization by identifying, diagnosing, and resolving issues related to our information systems and tooling. You'll apply your experience to help scale a growing business and drive operational excellence by creating, improving on and automating core processes.

The role is ideal for someone who thrives in building processes and projects from the ground up and is passionate about delivering exceptional service to internal clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities Technical Support: Provide hardware, software and network technical support to employees, resolve issues, and manage escalations. Process Management and Automation: Design, manage and automate core recurring processes, including onboarding/off-boarding employees and contractors, account/resource management, equipment administration, and software license management. Vendor Management: Manage external vendors and service providers, evaluate new technologies and services. Documentation: Maintain IT knowledge base up to date. Security and Compliance: Ensure security and compliance through initiatives like security training, password rotation, audits and remediation work. Continuous Improvement: Proactively evaluate IT systems and processes to identify and implement improvements and innovations that enhance productivity and employee satisfaction.Desired Experience Educational background in Information Technology or a related field, or proven expertise gained through self-directed learning and experience. Proven experience working in IT Support, ideally in a fast-paced startup environment. Customer-oriented approach with the ability to provide excellent service in response to internal requests and needs. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for both software and hardware issues. Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems. Proficiency in networking. Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub). Familiarity with security concepts. Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Scripting knowledge, or willingness to learn automation. We currently use Ruby.English is a must. We are a multicultural team, and we are providing a service in English so, we don't care about certificates, but we expect you to be able to communicate fluently.
You should feel equally comfortable communicating in long-form writing. We have become a fully remote company so, we believe that being articulate in both spoken and written long-form asynchronous communication is key to working efficiently together.
Experience working closely with non-technical stakeholders to refine requirements and bring them to life is a must.
Life at LingokidsHybrid work: Our company operates on a hybrid model, alternating between office and remote work. Due to the specific nature of this role, we will need you to come into the Madrid office as needed since many of the daily IT Support operations are conducted from there. This could average around 2-3 days a week.
