An important pharmaceutical and biotechnology company is looking for an IT Specialist, based in Madrid. Key responsibilities: Design and develop efficient and scalable Oracle database solutions. Develop and optimize stored procedures, functions and packages in PL/SQL. Collaborate with software development teams and business analysts to understand requirements and design database solutions that meet business needs. Participate in optimizing the performance of database queries and processes. Collaborate in the design and implementation of data security policies. Perform Oracle database migration and upgrade tasks. Support to end users (Office automation, CRM and proprietary tools). Perform unit and integration tests to ensure the quality of the developed code. Provide technical support and resolve problems related to Oracle databases.Required experience: Demonstrable experience as an Oracle Developer or in a similar role. Extensive knowledge of Oracle databases, including design, development and implementation. In-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture and administration. Solid experience in PL/SQL and in the development of stored procedures, functions and packages. Experience in database and query performance optimization. Exceptional troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Knowledge of Visual FoxPro would be an advantage. Minimum level of English B2. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to envisage and deliver innovative solutions.
