As a part of Eurofins,you will contribute to making science and innovation happen every day!Job DescriptionHow can you contribute?We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled IT Service Desk Engineer to strengthen our talented IT Infrastructure Service Desk Team regularly supporting our DACH region (Germany, Austria & Switzerland).As an IT Service Desk Engineer, you will:Assist in supporting our users in the area of Windows & Server requests, using RDP & SCCM; Work closely with our teams and handle received requests in a self-organized manner via our ticket system; Prepare help for our end-users and advise on any technical concerns; Assist the incidentmanagement and coordinate solutions involving our 3rd-level support or other internal teams; Analyze problems, propose solutions and document your approach to enable future-proof work; Support problem andchange management and actively contribute to sustainable solutions; Maintain and expandupon existing documentation to ensure a shared knowledge across the team; Maintain close contact with our international development team and represent our local customers to them.QualificationsAre you our kind of extraordinary?Previous work experience in a customer-facing role is required; Previous work experience with ticket systems, such as OTRS or ServiceNow is required; Proficiency with RDP & SCCM is highly desirable; Knowledge in the area of Citrix and MS Server Management is desirable; Knowledge of laboratory software / laboratory information and management systems (LIMS) is an asset but not required; The customer is always a key focus for you and a structured work style amplifies your way of working; You have a professional approach to customers and enjoy helping people, as well as, supporting them in their daily work life; Mutual support and team development is important to you; You display excellent critical thinking and detail-oriented skills; Strong German & English communication skills (written/oral) are required.Additional InformationWhat can we offer you?A competitive salary package, including bonus and benefits; Extensive on-the-job coaching and training opportunities; Challenges within amulti-cultural and cross-regional team as part of the international and fast-growing Eurofins organization; A dynamic working environment with a good team spirit where personal development and growth are highly encouraged; 100% remote work situation
