Your mission and responsibilities:
To take care of the end-to-end Project Management responsibility, in terms of owning, driving and be accountable for the transition and transformation of the IT Infrastructure. We are seeking a visionary Cloud mindset driven individual to spearhead our global transition away from on-premise VMware technology towards cutting-edge cloud solutions, enabling operational efficiency, scalability, and cost optimization.
Tasks and Responsibilities: Project planningProject communicationsSchedule and drive Project MeetingsMonitor budgetIdentifying the risks and mitigations in collaboration with respective stakeholders and maintaining them.Responsible for creating monthly/weekly status reportsAdherence to project management standards such as PMP and PRINCE2, including the use of Agile frameworks like Scrum and Safe 6.0 to effectively manage projects and agile teams.Maintain data for the project in our relevant toolsEffectively support to manage the triple constraint: cost, time, and scope.Financial skills-specifically support in managing and reporting Forecast, Budget, and Actual reconciliation on a monthly basis.Successfully defines workflows, jobs, and reporting relationships to obtain optimum effectiveness.Support Stakeholders engagement, viz. Customers, internal teams, and VendorsCoordinate and track multiple IT workstreams in collaboration with other workstreams of project, other stakeholders, vendors and ensure timely deliveriesSupports the contracting and procurement processes to fill the needs of the project/programSupport troubleshooting and resolving problems within projectsWorking with Quality Management, ensure all quality deliverables are created/maintainedWorking with Program Management, ensure all project deliverables are created/maintainedPlan and manage IT migration activities from various datacenters globally in collaboration with various workstreams and stakeholders without impacting the operations of our businessEnsure adherence to local regulations, standards, organization Cybersecurity and Data privacy rules.Ensure that training is conducted and documented as neededIdentifies resource needs and communicates/confirms with resource managers on a proactive basis; minimum monthlyMaintain and achieve architecture and operational documentation as per standardPlan and handover setup to operational teams and service providers and establish smooth operationsMaintain Lessons LearnedStrong interpersonal skills and ability to speak with confidence and ownershipOwnership mindset mandatoryExcellent communication (C-Level presence) and presentation skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and deliver results in a global environment (regions include Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific).Your Experience with VMware technologies and staying updated with newer technologies in that space for both on-premise and cloud Qualifications:
IT, Engineering or equivalent degree. On the job experience will be reviewed for applicability. PMP, ITIL, Agile, Scrum certifications preferred.
Additionally: 10+ years of work experience of managing standard to complex projects, in the IT Infrastructure spaceCertified in PMP or Prince, including Scrum or Safe frameworksGood understanding of the IT Infrastructure building blocks:IT Hardware - Servers, Computers, Data Centers, Labs, switches, hubs, and routers.Networking WAN, LAN, Internet connectivity, firewall and security (Preferred).ITSM Standards (ITIL v4.0)Exposure or knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity requirements & platforms for building business applicationsSuccessful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
