IT SAP Project ManagerWhat this position is about - PurposeThe SAP Delivery Center within the IT Global Development Center is accountable for the overall delivery of all SAP related projects. The role will be responsible for delivery of SAP systems and cutovers in scope of the SAP releases, managing SAP program and landscape delivery, defining SAP cloud solutions release strategies and governance, maintaining JTI SAP Archiving policies and/or SAP change and transport management across SAP landscapes. Success of the role is measured by having a clear communication and alignment with stakeholders, delivering tasks as per the schedule and having no impact in the movement to production. In the wide JTI landscape, this role needs to have the ability to fastly adapt the plan to the business demands to adopt new market requirements. In order to carry out the duties of this position, it is essential to have strong inter-personal communication and negotiation skills focus on win-win solutions.
What will you do - ResponsibilitiesReviews and validates all individual Project Charters and their detailed plansWorks with Project Managers and IT Leads to identify, pull together the Release Scope (functional and technical) for the SDC program of projectsMaintain fluent communication and alignment with projects, review status report and establishes quality gates for the project phasesEnsures awareness of issues/risks throughout the SDC Program and appropriate escalation as requiredAssessing, establishing and operating SAP Release and Landscape Management proceduresMaintains and defines SAP change and transport management processes and toolsEstablish governance procedures for SAP Cloud solutions and supports relationship with SAP account management teamOversees and manages outsourced SAP Landscape resources from Strategic PartnersDefine the JTI SAP landscape strategy appropriate for company's eco-system and observing risk mitigation, flexibility, business demand and costSupport the implementation of SAP with new technology changes and challenges (e.g. cloud solutions, in-memory technologies, new business suites)Align the JTI SAP landscape roadmap to support the SDC 3Y planEffectively design of SAP current year landscape to support SAP Release cycle based on requirements from project and support teamsWorking with GDC, IS, GTC and BTS teams develop the 3 Year Release Plan. This should include required business projects, Technical projects, i.e. QA refreshes, SAP Upgrades, Hardware changes, Security patches, Archiving projects etc.Who are we looking for - RequirementsUniversity degree in IT or equivalent5+ years project management and IT/Business process management experience5+ years experience in managing ERP systems (SAP) implementations, integration, SAP development coordination, cutover and/or testingFluent English, written & verbalExcellent computer skills. SAP, SharePoint, Microsoft Office including MS Project and VisioExcellent project management skills, ability to deliver on time, ability to challenge project managers and follow-up promptly on any issues and/or risks identified. Strong organizational and management skills to ensure timely and quality deliveryExcellent inter-personal communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
