As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing IT solutions that meet business requirements, while effectively managing project teams and ensuring project objectives are met.Role PurposeManage the design, deployment, and delivery of projects of medium complexity, providing IT solutions that meet business requirements.Direct project teams and maintain control of progress, quality, and budget to meet desired business objectives.Setup and run all project-related meetings and maintain the record of actions, decisions, issues, and risks.Ensure a smooth transition to operations and the optimal planning and execution of all activities associated with a release.Manage diverse set of senior stakeholders in the organization by effectively displaying excellence in soft skills.Execute innovative, impactful, cost-effective, and measurable programs, tightly aligned to business objectives.About the RoleManage the delivery of internal and outsourced projects from project initiation to transition to operations.Monitor and control project execution, establish project governance, managing risks and issues.Ensure effective use of resources and project management methods, tools, and practices.Deliver projects on time and within budget to meet desired business objectives.Provide transparent and accurate project reporting including overall performance of the project and project documentation completion.Own project status, issues, and risks through appropriate channels/tools and ensure that these are reported back to agreed project governance.Accountable to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Project Management service scope.Collaborate effectively with other teams and strategic suppliers providing services to the project.Commitment to Diversity & InclusionNovartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve.Minimum RequirementsUniversity degree in Informatics, Computer Sciences, business or similar OR relevant experience.Certified in PMP or Agile/Scrum or PRINCE 2 is preferred.Prior experience in delivering GxP solutions within Global Drug Development Clinical IT landscape is desirable.Knowledge of clinical development operations systems, processes, and tools is desirable.Ability to work and collaborate in matrixed teams to deliver projects with interdependencies.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.10 years of experience in IT Project Management.Proven capacity to respond to changes which impact the project, deal with uncertainty, and proactively problem solve.Why Novartis?236 million.
