We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support our Global Clinical Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing medium-complexity projects, ensuring the delivery of IT solutions that meet business requirements and align with the overall IT strategy.
Major Accountabilities:Manage the delivery of internal and outsourced projects from project initiation to transition to operations. Monitor and control project execution, establish project governance, managing risks and issues.Ensure effective use of resources and project management methods, tools, and practices.Deliver projects on time and within budget to meet the desired business objectives.Support the provision of services that contribute to managing the enterprise IT project portfolio, including development and implementation of project management standards and training, portfolio reporting and analytics, project management resourcing services, etc.Provide transparent and accurate project reporting including overall performance of the project and project documentation completion.Own project status, issues and risks through appropriate channels/tools and ensure that these are reported back to agreed project governance (e.g., Steering Committee) with focus on required actions, ownership, and risk management.Accountable to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Project Management service scope.Collaborate effectively with other teams, DDIT Functions and Domains in the organization, as well as strategic suppliers providing services to the project.Role Requirements: University degree in Informatics, Computer Sciences, business or similar OR relevant experience.Certified in PMP or Agile/Scrum or PRINCE2 is preferred.Prior experience in delivering GxP solutions within GDD Clinical IT landscape.Knowledge of clinical development operations systems, processes and tools is desirable.Ability to work and collaborate in matrixed teams to deliver projects with interdependencies like integration components.Experience using various project management methodologies including Agile.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Capability to help the Program lead/portfolio lead to structure plan, estimate, deliver, deploy and operate the project as required.15 years of experience in Project Management, ideally including experience in regulated environments.Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: Novartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve.
