We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support our Global Clinical Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing medium-complexity projects, ensuring the delivery of IT solutions that meet business requirements and align with the overall IT strategy.
Major Accountabilities: Manage the delivery of internal and outsourced projects from project initiation to transition to operations. Monitor and control project execution, establish project governance, managing risks and issues.Ensure effective use of resources and project management methods, tools, and practices.Deliver projects on time and within budget to meet the desired business objectives.Provide transparent and accurate project reporting including overall performance of the project and project documentation completion.Own project status, issues, and risks through appropriate channels/tools and ensure that these are reported back to agreed project governance (e.g., Steering Committee) with focus on required actions, ownership, and risk management.Accountable to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Project Management service scope.Collaborate effectively with other teams, DDIT Functions and Domains in the organization, as well as strategic suppliers providing services to the project.Role Requirements: University degree in Informatics, Computer Sciences, business, or similar OR relevant experience.Certified in PMP or Agile/Scrum or PRINCE 2 is preferred.Prior experience in delivering GxP solutions within GDD Clinical IT landscape.Knowledge of clinical development operations systems, processes, and tools is desirable.Ability to work and collaborate in matrixed teams to deliver projects with interdependencies.Experience using various project management methodologies including Agile.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.15 years of experience in Project Management, ideally including experience in regulated environments.Why Novartis: Our purpose is to reimagine medicine to improve and extend people's lives.
