The IT/OT Manager, as a member of the Operations Team, is responsible for the implementation and maintainance of the IT and OT telecommunication networks and all the monitoring systems (SCADAs) of the power plants.
He is also responsible for the supervision of the compliance of these systems with Verbund's internal guidelines.
Your main responsabilities will be: Collaboration with the Head Quarters to define the optimal telecommunication solutions and OT architecture for the power plants.
Coordination of different departments and service providers to implement Verbund's guidelines in all communication systems of the VGP Iberia portfolio.
Collaboration with external contractors and other internal departments to define the SCADA solution for the remote monitoring and control of the power plants.
Coordination of the different subcontractors, IT service providers and telecom companies during the implementation of the new power plants.
Ensuring that the OT design implemented in the new parks in Spain meets the standards set by the company.
Coordination of the different subcontractors and service providers to ensure the proper working and maintenance of all the telecommunication and SCADA systems.
Negotiation of service agreements with suppliers.
Point of contact for the OT and IT topics in the Spanish projects of the company.
Point of contact for the Cyber-security topics affecting the Spanish portfolio of the company.
Your profile: Bachelor´s degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electronic/Automation Engineering.
3 years of relevant experience in the industrial field, renewable energy field or a related field.
Experience in negotiation and coordination of service providers.
Knowledge/experience in telecommunication architectures and protocols used in industrial environments, especially in power generation plants.
Knowledge/experience with SCADA systems.
Experience in the use of the Microsoft Suite, mainly Excel and Word (high level).
Excellent English language skills (spoken and written); German language skills optional.
Residence in Madrid.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Interest for the renewable energy transition.
