American multinational company that creates innovative packaging and engineered producs with a diverse and talented team of over 40,000 employees across more than 250 locations, which is now looking for a:IT Operations Manager: South Europewith the objective to lead and facilitate the EMEIA IT Operational group in the South Europe region (France, Spain, and Italy) within the company Global. Monitor, escalate, maintain, upgrade, and support the IT resources in the region. Develop the team in line with the Operational role requirements and duties. Facilitate Security & Operational, ERP, and Technical solutions within the region.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and enhance the regional IT team, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluation. Maintain consistent communication with executive/divisional leadership concerning the utilization of information services and systems across Berry Global.Detect and address security breaches, GDPR compliance concerns, inefficiencies within the security team, application weaknesses, network/infrastructure flaws, and other vulnerabilities.Assist in outlining and shaping annual security strategies, educating and informing key stakeholders about emerging threats, industry developments, and relevant legal requirements related to security reports, presentations, and key metrics.Ensure that all company software, processes, protocols, data categorization, IT architecture, and policies are accurately designed and maintained to align with company security standards. Develop and sustain a constantly updated document framework of information security policies, standards, and guidelines.Organize and assess both internal and external security audits by third parties.Design education and awareness initiatives, providing guidance to operating units at all levels on security concerns, best practices, and vulnerabilities.Keep abreast of security issues and regulatory changes within the region, participate in national policy and practice discussions, and routinely communicate these topics to the enterprise.Maintain ongoing communication with executive/divisional leadership regarding the deployment of information services and systems throughout the company.RequirementsStrong people and project management experience, demonstrated within large EMEA multi-site matrix manufacturing organizations.Experience in IT leadership, managing a team of direct reports.Proven ability to build bridges and partnerships with business/IT leadership and 3rd parties, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to function in a high-pressure environment, leading and motivating both direct and indirect reports within the organization and third parties to achieve tactical and strategic goals.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and forensic skills.Fluent French and English are a must.
