Smallpdf, the world's most loved PDF software, is on the lookout for an IT Operations Manager.Who are we?Your mission—should you choose to accept it: At Smallpdf, you will take ownership over the back-office infrastructure and the distributed IT Operations team, enabling your colleagues, your team, and yourself to excel at your job.Responsibilities Duties:Represent and drive the internal IT.Build and lead a distributed IT team across 4 locations.Gather coworker requirements, find optimal solutions, and drive their implementation.Communicate effectively with stakeholders, suppliers, contractors, etc.Drive automation within IT processes, including hands-on work.Inventory management and budgeting.Enhance processes and documentation with an eye on security.Ensure the availability, security, and confidentiality of IT systems.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.At least 2 years of hands-on IT management experience.Ability to gather coworker and company requirements and build a compelling vision for the internal IT.Ability to manage stakeholders across multiple teams and drive parties with conflicting priorities to a decision.Knowledge in managing SaaS apps such as Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Microsoft 365, as well as AWS and on-premise infrastructure.
