Job Summary As an IT Network Engineering Trainee, you will acquire foundational skills and knowledge required to support and maintain a global Network infrastructure.
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic IT environment.
You will configure and troubleshoot network-related events, ensuring accurate and up-to-date network records to support efficient network management and operations.
Key Accountabilities •Assist in the installation and configuration of network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
•Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures •Monitor network performance and identify potential issues.
•Collaborate with team members to implement new network solutions.
•Provide technical support to end-users and resolve network-related issues.
•Participate in meetings with the team, vendors and internal users.
Networking/Key relationships •Network engineering team members •Vendors / service providers •PMO •Security department •Service Desk •Internal clients Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position: •Bachelor's Degree / Master students in computer science, telecommunications, information technology, computer engineering, or a related field.
•Networking Fundamentals: Understanding of basic networking concepts such as IP addressing, subnetting, and switching.
•CCNA desirable.
Cisco Certified Networking trainings would be considered.
•Basic understanding of ITIL processes and agile methodologies.
