IT Asset Governance considers all Schneider Electric's software, hardware, infrastructure, and digital information with respect to their specific influence within the Enterprise. The Global ITAG function sits within the Ethics and Compliance function of Schneider Electric. The Mission of ITAG is to enable smart & sustainable decisions on digital investments aligned with the overall Governance Strategy & bring value to the Enterprise by maximizing utilization & efficiencies while reducing costs & risks associated with IT Assets. All while securing these assets by maintaining controls and risk monitoring to enable compliance within all Schneider Electric's organizations. Additionally, ITAG maintains a specific framework for IT & Digital Compliance to defend Schneider Electric from compliance exposures and financial risks. IT Assets are all physical & logical assets considered intrinsic in value & material in nature regardless of their associated depreciation or spend currency value.

The License Audit & Compliance Lead role is a key Commercial and Compliance role in ITAG, focusing on developing, progressing and closing cross-services, complex settlement and commercial audits on behalf of Schneider Electric. Driving the design and implementation of additional controls within Line of Business to ensure sustainable compliance in anticipation of any future compliance inquiries from vendors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities: Engages and partners between Publisher Compliance, Legal, Purchasing and Finance in settlement and contractual negotiation of Asset-related License agreements to ensure that SE obtains the most favorable outcome from external audit exercises.Acts as the primary point of contact externally and liaison with internal stakeholders.Engages with stakeholders to design and implement appropriate controls and monitoring to ensure negotiated contracts align with Schneider Electric's strategic goals.Applies and drives the effective adoption of governance frameworks and strategic application to ensure stakeholder alignment while working to resolve complex licensing issues.Ensures an in-depth understanding of the Publisher's business, goals, strategies and industry trends prior to defining the go-forward compliance strategy.Provides expertise in identifying, progressing, negotiating and closing commercial settlement deals while working closely with the extended Schneider team.Demonstrates effective Project Management expertise in influencing the closure of gaps with business partners and other functional leaders.Demonstrates expertise in understanding and interpreting complex license agreements, effectively communicating the requirements to achieve compliance.Serves as a global lead and demonstrates mature leadership behaviors including: High levels of personal integrity in the conduct of professional affairs and in dealing with sensitive and confidential data.Calmness and clarity of thought under pressure.Understanding of strategic business objectives and the ability to drive results toward those objectives.Actively builds internal and external relationships by establishing trust through accurate knowledge sharing and transparent engagement activities.Contributes to the team achievement of Global Publisher Compliance Services goals and objectives.Demonstrates balanced, impartial and timely judgment in decision-making on Publisher Compliance engagement.Responsible for achieving settlement results for local, international or worldwide agreements.Advocates alignment with the larger ITAG function to mitigate underlying problems with Entitlement Agreements and usage discrepancies. Experience: 8+ years of Audits & Compliance-related experience (Technology or Software Licensing Preferred).5+ years of professional licensing experience in 2 or more Tier 1 software publishers preferred.3+ years in providing specialist view on contract development and delivery.3+ years in software business industry, with understanding of industry trends.Experience in negotiating with external suppliers, ideally leading cross-brand solutions.Proven success in engaging, persuading, and developing relationships with senior leaders.Strong Influencing & Negotiation experience is preferred.Experience with executive-level presentations.Experience in Project Management Principles.Experience in Governance activities and ongoing monitoring of potential risks.
